Marry for Money

I think women who marry for money are idiots. I get it, they want more money and to be provided by someone who can afford it, but I wouldn't want to get stuck with a man that I don't love. Women should marry men who they love and can spend the rest of their lives with. A couple episodes ago in Desperate Housewives, we learn that Lynettes's mother is going to marry a very terrible man. He is rude to Lynette and her mother. Lynette hates the guy. Later, the man dies. All Lynette's mother can think about is how much money she is going to be getting because she is in his will. She shows no sympathy whatsoever.
