Women in the workplace

According to Neal Conan (host of NPR), women will eventually make up the majority of the workplace.

Are employers accommodating working women who are mothers? Balancing the workplace and home is difficult for most women. What can companies do to make sure everyone is being able to accomplish this? I think that if a women wants to have a family she should apply for jobs that have flexible schedules. Employers should be lenient with work schedules. For example, if a woman has to take a day off to care for a sick child or take maternity time off. Regardless of any job, women should be able to take time off of work for maternity leave. They should be able to decide how much time is best for them without taking advantage of it.
